VERY NEW TO MAC ......
how do i change the mac mail to a gmail
evrytime i want to send mail mac mail pops up (never set up macmail)
also i'm not that comp savvy.....

Do you mean when you click on an email address in a webpage it opens up your Gmail account's compose screen? That would be so neat. I'm not sure if its possible right now, but I'll try and see if there's anything.

You can set up Mac Mail to access your gmail account, so you can send mail from your gmail account using mac mail. Check the gmail site for setup instructions.

Yeah, its a rather simple proccess. I prefer the UI of Gmail though.

It is possible. It involves installing the GMail notifier. See the instructions here.

you should download the GMail notifier but i would suggest you use Apple Mail. It is a nice application and very easy to set up. Gmail has instructions on their website for how to configure it.
