Hi, way new to Mac, could use some help...

So I want to adjust power saving and maybe change desktop and maybe screen saver...

So I find it in system preferences.

I can pick out a new desktop picture they have there available and all...

But there's no ok button or anything, how do I make it happen?

I select new picture then close the dialog and the desktop hasn't changed.

Is there a Picard button, "Make it So!"?

Thanks

If they have a download sign, you have to download the image first. For the images that don’t have it and the screen savers, just clicking on selects them as “in use” without any other confirmation.

If you click on a different picture, it will change immediately, just by selecting a different picture. No need to have a "Make it So!", or OK button.

Yea I was clicking on the picture but you have to click on the cloud first.

Once it's downloaded Picard made it so.

I'm getting used to things, I like having the close button to the left.

Thanks guys
