Changing size of "slide to unlock" text?

I am trying to make a custom theme with new text in the "slide to unlock" spots. I know how to change the actual text, but what I want to put in, albeit short in length, is too long to fit on the slider. I have looked several times for a way to change the size of the font, so is this possible and if so, how would it be done?
