I'm on mm2012 and old -keyboard with eject button.
Mini will sleep with com+opt+eject, but if I try to redefine that in sysPrefs->KB->shortcuts->Services->Text(wtf?)->"Put Computer To Sleep" to eg.F13, I just hear the alert sound.
Can sleep butten be redefined at all?

I use Control-Eject, which brings up the shut-down dialog window.
I usually just press S for sleep, or can just press Return to shut down from that dialog window.
I like that window, as it gives me the opportunity to change my mind:cool:

The reason I wanted to have single keyboard button for sleep, is that I could usually easily put mini to sleep when I'm on the backside of my monitors. Reaching from there to many buttons or mouse and moving cursor to some corner isn't very easy.
But I just found out that apple remote can put mini to sleep!

Still, I'm curious why F13 does not work.
Is there some kind of logic in Keyboard Shortcuts, that you can't have 2 different shortcuts for the same job?
If there's no way to disable opt+com+eject in Sierra, then you can't define another shortcut for it?
