Changing sound in alarm causes crash

As the title says, if i try to change the sound of an alarm it causes the app to freeze and i have to force close it to be able to do anything again. I can set new alarms ok (except specifying the sound) i can edit the name and repeat etc just not the sound. i'm on 9.2.1 on a new i6 so a bit lost really.

Does that happen when you select a new sound or even earlier simply when you go to select a new sound?

iOS 9.2.1 on iPhone 4s, can change sound on alarm even from music without freeze. Have you restarted the phone to see if that help?

Hi thanks for the replies, not 100% sure what was causing it but a as usual a fresh restore and sitting around for an age for it restore fixed it.
