I'm on an iPhone 5, upgraded to 7.1.1 and jailbroke with Pangu. I got the system icons like mail, notes, SMS, safari, etc. to replace using iFunBox, but when I try to replace user application icons for apps that I downloaded through the app store (Instagram, Shazam, Chome,) they seem to be write protected. I cannot delete or replace any of them, they just revert to the original. Anybody have the same issues? This method worked fine before the upgrade.

Are you using the afc2add package from cydia?

If yes, use Apple File Conduit "2" from saurik instead

how will iconbundles help? he's not using winterboard to theme his icons

I just tried installing and found out it is for Winterboard. Still having this issue if anybody has any ideas. I have tried afc2add, afc2add 7 and Apple File Conduit 2. I have App List installed and I tried installing AppSync, as well, with no luck.
