so I wanted to change my credit card info for iTunes, I updated my card with a different card. does it take a while for that to go into effect? I ask because around half and hour later, I purchased an app, and the transaction went to my old card, and not the new one

Like Phil mentioned, once you change you CC information, the change takes effect immediately. Did you receive a error message when inputing the new CC information in?

It should take affect immediately as it would on any other online retail site. When ever I have changed my card on iTunes it has always changed over immediately.
