Hi. I was wondering if I could get any help on how to change the image of my hard drive and folders. I have downloaded a couple of sets of icons that I like and now just need help setting them up . Any help at all would be great.

Thanks.

use apple-i to pull up info screen on both the application/folder you want to change the icon of and the new icon itself.

in that info screen, there is a small version of the icon. click on the custom icon you want to use, apple-c (copy).

go to the info screen for the target app/folder, click on the small icon, apple-v (paste).

if you want to restore the original icon, click on the small icon, press 'delete'.

well, for the drive and most folders, my method should work.

i don't know how to change the trash, i guess. but if you can't change on the first try, you can just modify the permissions and i've been successful...

looks like a very nice app, though. (the priciness depends on how much use you get out of it, i guess.)

yeah candyapp is good and easy for changing those icons that have change with the situation, like the trash can (empty and full) and like cd icons and that good stuff. but just plain hard drives and folders apple i will be the ticket.
