Maybe a dumb question but is it possible to charge an IPod through an IPAd. For instance could it be done through the camera connection kit. This year, on vacation we will take only our IPAD and not our MacBook which we always used to charge the IPods. I know we can buy a wall charger but that is one more little electronic gadget to carry and between my razor, cell phone, IPad etc. I already have too many chargers to carry.

i dont think the usb power through the connection kit will be enough to charge an ipod. its probably only enough to just provide power for reading a flash card.

I don't think so

I don't think it will work that way but my question to you is how are going to charge the iPad? It should work for the ipod to.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-gb) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

Wouldn't work. Even if there was some device that let you, you'd just be transferring the charge from the iPad onto your iPod and that just seems a bit silly.

Can't believe noones said you can charge the iPod with the iPad wall charger ROFL.

I smell troll

as someone mentioned just use the same charger for both

even if you could charge your iPod with the iPad, draining one battery to charge another one = stupid idea since its not as efficient as just charging both
