Charge/Sync with iPod Cable?

Sorry, but I couldn't find a clear answer in my searches. Can I use my video iPod cable and charger to charge/sync my iPad?

I had the same question earlier this week. The cable is the same for all devices but the iPad requires a higher wattage than the iPhone/iPod so if you want anything more than a trickle charge you need to use the wall adapter provided with the iPad.

I use the cord that came with the Touch my husband bought me last Christmas. Works fine overnight, but I'm not in any big hurry.

The cables for iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch are all the same and can be used interchangeably. However, the older version of the cable had 2 springs at the side which causes it to pop out from the dock connector more easily. I prefer this old version of the cable to the new one which doesn't have such a mechanism.
