This is puzzling to me, I search the apple web store today, and i cannot find a single product that claims to charge your mbp through the cigarrette adapter. And then I find a company that does it, but for over $200!

Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative for charging your laptop while on a long roadtrip?

thanks!:)

get a DC-AC inverter, and just make sure it puts out enough amps for the charger you want to use. i picked one up last january for a road-trip to perth (~3000 KM in two days ) it only cost like $AU70, the HP (i had a work laptop then) charger for DC was around $300
