I woke up with this on my shoulder, my iPhone was not charging, but the cable was on my bed and plugged in.

I cannot think of anything else that could’ve done this as I slept, and did not think this was even possible. Can a plugged in charger cause this?

Apple 20w + lighting cable.

Apple OEM cable and charger?

Yes. I know it’s foolish to sleep with a charger, but it was St Paddy’s day and I am Irish born and raised.

It’s a mystery to me and this is the only logical explanation .
