Hi there,

I am planning a trip to the United States soon and am very excited to purchase a MacBook Air M2 15 while I'm there. However, I've realized that the plug on the charger won't be compatible with the power outlets in my home country, as I would need an EU type plug. I was wondering if Apple provides any options for exchanging the charger plug at no additional cost? Your guidance on this matter would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Best regards.

Nothing available from Apple as far as an exchange. Here are your options:

Apple offers their “World Travel Kit” that includes all the options for around the world for $29.00

Or you can try buying a “Duckhead” on eBay

Or get a plug adapter (doesn’t have to adapt voltage) from Amazon, etc.

A second for the World Travel Kit - I have 2 and they have been indispensable on my trips around the world. Another option as indicated by @FreakinEurekan is to buy a ********. On Amazon US, you can get two for USD$7.89 - link here:

Just buy an Satechi charger on Amazon with USB C which will charge your M2 air better than the Apple charger,
