iPod Charging 5G iPod with firewire charger. Thingy.

Can I charge my 5G iPod with my 4G iPod firewire charger?
I know the 5G iPod doesn't support firewire, but I don't want to buy Apples $30 USB charger.

Yes you can the FW power pins are connected, just not the data ones.
