iPad Charging an iPad 2 with Air 12W Charger?

Is it advisable to charge an iPad 2 with the Air charger which is 12W? I can't find my 10W charger so I had no choice but to use my Air charger. I do notice it's charging up much faster with the 12W charger. Can I damage the battery if I use this charger?

It will not harm the charger or the device and you should be fine.

I use the 12W with my iPad 1 and even iPhone. No issues yet.

You can always charge any device with a higher wattage charger. The device will only draw what it needs.
