I won an iPod in a competion and it was delievered to me last March (2007). However I didn't have a computer at home and left it stored in a drawer, until a friend persuaded me to let him have it to load songs for me. This I did, but I have found that it doesn't seem to retain any charge at all. When disconnected from my computer (at work) it's completely dead. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, Ivan! I actually charged it yesterday on my friend's Mac. Eventually it told him that it was fully charged. He disconnected it and I still can't turn the damn thing on! I can only assume that the battery is as flat as a very flat thing! Do you happen to know how much of a faff it would be to get a new one fitted?
