Hello, I have an iPhone 6, my charging cord has to be pushed in good into the port on my phone and I can't move my phone or it will stop, the cord also slips out of the port very easy. Before you say it, no it's not because the cord is broken I went out and brought a new one but still does it, and no it's not a cheap cord, it's a authorised Apple cord.
So my question is, what is going on here? Port worn out? Or what?

It sounds like the port connector may either be loose or possibly slightly misaligned which is why you have to push it in to make good contact. Is your phone still under Apple care or extended Apple care? If it is, make a genius appointment and have them look at and replace the connector port.
