So last night was the first night I had my 4S. I had reached a full charge and kept my phone plugged in to my iPhone 4 USB cable and AC adapter since I already had those setup behind my desk, etc. I also started a WiFi sync and iCloud backup at this point (it said it was 5Gigs but who knows, I still can't really understand what iCloud Backup reports with delta change amounts and total size, etc).

Anyway, that probably put the phone under a pretty heavy load and after about 5 hours of sleep when I woke up it was at 97%... meaning it actually lost charge while plugged in.... What I'm wondering is if it's like the iPad where it needs more juice to charge the device and if even though the two little AC adapters look the same the 4S one is rated for a higher spec (amperage, current, whatever the correct term is)

Anyone know for sure or have the same issue of it dropping charge while plugged into AC power if doing heavy load stuff?
