I just got my phone today. I don’t have any real accessories so I put the phone on my Samsung charging pad. When I charged my Note 20 on it, the light on the charging pad would turn from red to green when the phone was done charging. When I charged the iPhone, the light stayed red even when the phone was at 100%. So a couple of questions.

1. Do iPhones stop charging when they are full and charging wirelessly.
2. Does anyone use a Samsung charger that acts like this.

Thanks

Yes, the phone stops drawing power when it’s full.

No Samsung charger, but I have a couple of generic MagSafe-compatible chargers, and they behave in an expected way. Neither are my primary source of charging (one’s in the car, the other in the kitchen), but I’ve used them for years without issue. My phones have always had batteries with appropriate health levels by the time I traded them in.
