iPod Charging iPod Nano 4G

I just bought a new iPod nano 4G, I bought it to attach to my Alpine Stereo Head Unit in my car. It replaced the 1G nano that I have had for the past 5 years or so.

I did not know however that the charging for the nano had changed, and it can no longer be charged through the head unit.

What I am wondering is... is there an adaptor or anything that I can get that would make the charging possible?

I went through the same thing. Alpine has an adapter you can buy, or you can buy the Scosche passPORT (can be found cheaper elsewhere), which is what I went with. Works great.
