This would be a really cool stand, if all the functions you said could be realized.I kind of want a "sleep stand" that will let them hang like a normal stand, but with a magnet in the middle where the cans touch, that will force them into the full low power mode.
Hmm that was on Amazon also but can’t find it anymore.Well this is on eBay And it charges

Loads of suppliers on eBay. Just search for AirPods Max standHmm that was on Amazon also but can’t find it anymore.
Nope...mine are either on my ears or a stand. And in my case when I’m out and about or know I won’t be using them for awhile.(at nite sleeping for example)Does anyone have concern with hanging these on a stand wearing out the mesh prematurely?
Yes. Definitely. Solving that, I am wondering what power management is like on them. Apple probably anticipated stands where people would "charge" them every time they were set down.Does anyone have concern with hanging these on a stand wearing out the mesh prematurely?
I have one of these (or a similar one). One issue is that the charging cable isn’t held in place so when you “push” the APM on to the charger, it pushes the cable out the other side.Yes. Definitely. Not sure about that. But I'm kind of counting on not having to put them in the "case" every time I set them down.
This is a pretty new listing on amazon. I want to 3D print my own, but won't have my printer for a while. I need a stand now so I'm going to give it a go.
I do not want to hang mine, and the ease of charging is ideal as was demo'd in the 3d print thread about this.
Product page says:
Will post a review ITT when I have used it for a bit.
- Silicone material with a smooth finish
- Holds the Airpods Max in place and keeps a firm grip on it with no wobble.
- Prevents cable scatter and saves space
Have you continued using it? How is the material? Have you tried securing it underneath with an office "binder" clip or something else?I have one of these (or a similar one). I’ve stopped for now. Not sure how a binder clip would help, it really needs to be secured from the outside to stop it pushing inHave you continued using it? How is the material? Have you tried securing it underneath with an office "binder" clip or something else?
