is it true that when you boot up and start the iPad for the first time you have to let it completely deplete the battery to an extent that the iPad shuts down and then when you charge it the first time after that you have to let it get fully charged to 100% some people sayt is how you start commencing the battery charging cycle and this ensures a better battery performance and life of the battery !

is that how it is ?

I have honestly never heard of this, but I know it’s good for Lithium ion batteries to go to 0% once in a while.

No, that's an old wives tale.

If you discharge the battery, it's harmful. Keep the state of charge between 20-80% whenever possible.

The first charge(s) already happened at the factory during QA.

No, that’s just bs. If there’s important steps to follow, Apple would point those out on the related support pages. Feel free to report back if you find this mentioned anywhere on their site.

NO!

Just use it. Charge it when you want and do not worry about your battery. Running it to empty is about the worst thing you can do.

So the first time when do I put it up on charging ? when it hits about 10% showing on the battery Indicator ?

There are no set times to put it on charging. You are making this more difficult than it needs to be.

If it has enough power to use now, use it. When you are not using it and it needs charging, put it on the charger.

I charge mine at night while sleeping. I do this maybe twice or three time a week. The batteries in your iPad can be charged anytime you want. In my opinion I would not run it down to 10%, just charge it when you are not using.

Apple has put a lot of technology in your iPad so that the user does not have to worry about charging.

No, you do not need to do that and is unnecessary. Just use it normal and charge it whenever you need to. Don't worry about it.

Just make sure you charge it flat on its back so the electricity spreads out instead of all pooling at the bottom of the battery

I have the Apple smart cover for the iPad Pro 11" so do I charge it with the device inside the cover right and flat ? That's what you mean isn't it ??

I don't think Apple has changed the battery type apart from its capacity ever since iPad was launched they are all Lithium Ion ! And I was talking about the same one.

Just charge it when convenient. I am starting to think you are trolling by your repeated questions that have been answered.
