Other Charging using Fast Charge Brick

I have an AT&T branded 18w fast charging brick and want to get the Apple branded 20w brick.

Is it ok to use either the 18w or 20w as your only charging solution? Will it be a detriment to the longevity of the battery such as charging overnight or is it better to use a lower w brick and when charging overnight?

If it was me I would use the 5w if charging overnight. You don’t need it fast if it’s sitting there for 7 hours while you sleep. Fast charging is bound to degrade the battery quicker than 5w charge, that’s just physics
