I have heard it's best not to leave phone charging all night as it will keep charging in little spurts which can harm battery.

I thought it was okay to charge every night and best to keep it at 100.

When the device is fully charged, it will stop charging. No juice in, no juice out (assuming it's asleep), so it's perfectly fine to charge it every night.

It's OK. The phone will regulate the charging so that neither it nor the battery are harmed in any way.

thats what i thought, but i was reading online that even when fully charge it will have some spurts of charge to kep it at 100%, but thanks makes sense.

So I can charge it every night and it's better that way.
You can charge it every night, it's not really any better or worse, but will ensure that you have a fully charged up device ready to go in the morning.
