I found this VERY cheap netbook sleeve on Amazon - £4.99 delivered. It says fits up to 10.2" netbooks; I thought it should be okay for an iPad and decided to order one.
Arrived today and I have to say I'm happier with it than I expected to be. The fit is actually very good, maybe very slightly too long. Of course the case is designed for thicker netbooks, so there is some empty space inside (USB cable could be kept inside as well?). The material feels good, not as high-quality as something from Incase or the like but good enough to have confidence in.
But for the price I'm very pleased with it. I'll have to see how the case fares when I start using my iPad somewhere other than home next week.
