Certainly looks "cheap". In case you're wondering, that's not a compliment. The screens look terrible, i surely hope it plays better than it looks. good luck to you.

Allow me to explain a few things. This is a solo effort, mostly for fun, and I am by no means an artist. In spite of this, a great deal of effort went into this game. But since I'm charging money for this app, criticism is absolutely welcome.

I feel like you're coming across as a bit of a graphics snob, and possibly a jerk. But I encourage you to buy my app anyway because at least you'll be more qualified to have an opinion on it. And I could use the extra cash.

Peace,
-Tom

graphics snob.....no (galcon is no graphics marvel but was a great game). jerk.......yes :)

Reviewing your own app and giving a 5 star review seems awfully tacky.

I like my app. Why wouldn't I give it 5 stars? :p Besides, I've seen "Message from the Developer" reviews for other apps and never thought it was "tacky". To me, it seems to be a friendly way of saying thank you, and encourages others to write reviews and provide helpful feedback.

I kindly disagree with you. If you write an app, you are free to not use that review space for anything at all, and that's just fine with me.

Best wishes,
-Tom

Good luck with your first app, Tom. My favorite game system, to this day, is the original NES. :)

Thanks for the kind words!

The NES is where I got my start in gaming, 20 years ago, and it will always remain my favorite as well! Of course, there are a ton of great modern titles, and I enjoy a good variety of games from different generations. But there are so many classic NES games that seem exactly as fun as the day I first played them :)

Best of luck to you with your current and future apps!
