Hi

I have a client who I have done a corporate site for them and they now want a number of mini sites for all their products.

Can you recommend a way to host this? Do I get a multi user account, a single account and forward the domains on to different directories? or is there a fantastic do it all service out there that you know of.

It will only be html based - nowt fancy.

Cheers

Some hosts will let you host multiple domains under one account -- that's one of the reasons I use Dreamhost, because I manage about a dozen small sites (Dreamhost lets you host unlimited domains from one account), sharing my server resources. You can configure the domains to do whatever you want -- redirect, point to the same directory, point to different directories -- you just have to find a host that will allow you add multiple domains to one hosting account. If you do decide you to use Dreamhost, let me know, I have a coupon code you can use when you sign up to get a big discount.

Lunarpages (see sig) allows you to do the same thing. For example, you can have your main site http://www.corporate.com and then have http://division.corporate.com or http://www.division.com - and each uses the same server and account. You just have to watch out for how much traffic each site may receive as it could get bogged down with too many requests (depending how frequented they are).

If you do a lot of web design you should consider being a Reseller.
