In 2014 Apple updated their old outdated storage plans. In 2015 they updated them again. In 2016 they added a higher storage tier. Here is the breakdown:

I think, given the pattern, we're likely to see some price drops this year since they went a whole year without them. Personally, this is what I'd like to see:

- New 1TB for $19.99/mo
- 5GB unchanged, free
- 20GB went from $0.99/mo to 50GB for the same price
- 200GB went from $3.99/mo to $2.99/mo
- 500GB went away
- 1TB went from $19.99/mo to $9.99/mo
2017: Price drops?
I think, given the pattern, we're likely to see some price drops this year since they went a whole year without them. Personally, this is what I'd like to see:

- 20GB free (5GB isn't even enough to really try it out any more)
- 100GB for $0.99/mo
- 500GB for $3.99/mo
- 1TB for $7.99/mo
- 2TB for $14.99/mo
