I was wondering what is the cheapest option for a MBA?

I had invisible shield till last week, today I found out that genius at the apple store took it off to fix my MBA. :(

They didn't offer me a replacement, just asked me to buy a new one.

So I don't want to shell out another $60-70, just looking for something cheap.

Any ideas?

If you can get back the one they took off you can send it to Invisible Shield (Zagg) and they'll replace it for free (you pay shipping I think). Also, if you call them and explain the situation they may replace it without the old one being sent to them. They did it for me once for an iPhone Invisible Shield. The product has to be registered though, I would guess, so they know you actually owned one. Good luck. I have found the service from them to be above average.

why bother??

just wipe the sucker over with a damp cloth once a week and buff it dry with a clean lint free cloth
then polish up the screen with the Apple supplied back cloth.

like an iPhone, they feel the best in la naturel state, as Steve intended - why stick plastic or gelatine over an insanely beautiful tactile product.

best thing is - it don't cost anything

To be honest I like the extra grip.

I am quite harsh to my devices, clear films really protect well without loosing its beauty. :D

I got WrapSol for $18 shipped. :apple:

I'm a big fan of the Zagg Invisibleshield. I say talk to them, try to get another one free. If they can't work with you, I'd pony up.

I too enjoy the extra grip. That's half the reason I like the InvisibleShield product. The other half is for the incredible protection without detracting from the aesthetics of the device.

To each his own...

Try http://www.bodyguardz.com

$49.95 for MacBook Air, with Free standard shipping in USA, which also offer lifetime replacements. They tend to ship products much faster than IS. I can't tell their qualities apart.

Heck, if all else fails go to Zagg.com and enter the ipad giveaway. You get a discount code for up to 50% off just by entering.

The contest appears in the bottom right corner of the website.

=)

Aaaand you could win an ipad. Can't go wrong with that either! lol
