I have a Core 2 Duo iMac (the rest is on my sig). What's the cheapest place out there selling RAM? I'm planning on upgrading to 3GB.

Try newegg.

Sure ... if you want no support, no guarantee of Mac compatibility and a restocking charge if you want a refund. If you feel lucky, you may save $10.

I recommend that you deal with a reputable seller who knows Macs and guarantees compatibility, offers a lifetime warranty and a no cost return or exchange if it doesn't work.

The most-often recommended dealers on MR for US customers are Crucial (link above), OWC /MacSales.com and Data Memory Systems

Thanks
