Hi,

I just bought an i5 quad-core 27" iMac. So far everything looks fine. What are all the known issues I can check my iMac for?

Thanks,
Chris

ps: I want to check if everything is okay because I don't want to have loads of hardware problems with it like I did with my first generation MacBook Pro, which basically had all the known issues possible lol.

Everything seems fine EXCEPT the yellow tinge. It does have the yellow tinge. CoconutIdentity says my iMac was made in Shanghai in between 28th December and 3rd January. Is this a bad batch?

What am I supposed to do? Are there any iMacs without the yellow tinge issue?

If it bothers you, get the screen replaced or return the entire unit. You might have to wait a few weeks to get the screen replaced, seems Apple is backed up a little bit at the moment. If it doesn't bother you, just enjoy your new machine. :)

Yes, there are iMacs without the yellow tinge.
