I have more stuff, mounted on boards and stuff, but I need to get an internship for a practicum class. I was hoping this would show that I have illustration skills for graphic design. The place I am applying to also said that interactive stuff was a plus so I added the widgets I designed, and some displays and web page designs. They also said that hand drawn illustrations were also good so I put my charcoal drawings on there to. Go ahead..Tear it apart..:p p.s. Most of the stuff were projects for classes, besides the charcoal stuff.

Awesome, great charcoal drawings! It's good that you put in the wireframes for the widgets n such because it shows your thought process. If it was me, I'd put in a few charcoal sketches if you have any? then they would serve as a similar purpose as the wireframes. Best of luck on getting an internship! : )

Thanks Panny, I know what you mean, but at the same time thay were off the top of my head and I needed to turn something in, so I ran with it. I just hope that it shows I know my way around Ai, and know my way around a pencil and paper to.:)

I like the interface of the portfolio. Good choice of software to use. No distractions, simple interface. The only thing that concerns me is the quality of the photos. On the first one, there are flash artifacts, that look like the actual artwork is smudged at first glance? The last, I can actually see the room you are in, and your silhouette when shooting the photo. Also, the cropping shows that they are off center, and skewed. These small issues detract a bit from your overall professionalism? I hope you can rephotograph them, if time allows.

I would arrange some small lamps as a light source instead of using a flash. That way you can avoid reflection and artifacts? Good luck with your internship application. You're very talented, and I enjoyed seeing your works. Thanks for sharing them. :)

Good point,
the quality of the photos subtracts from the quality of the art... at least use a free transform in PS to square up the images- and then crop out borders... that will help a lot.

Good idea, I was kind of in a rush to get them up, to send out cover letters. I appreciate all the good ideas.:)
