Too bad the resolution isn't higher. I'm thinking of getting one to display my pano stuff. It should work with a MacPro, right?

I'm sorry but I can't see any benefits to having this.

It has a smaller resolution that the new 27" Apple monitors. This monitor is just a gimmick, nothing more.

But it does have a much increased viewing angle. Undoubtedly it's a specialty display, but does have its uses in a few select specialty applications. This monitor would serve much better than a standard display in say a simulation console where the expanded view and curved screen make the viewing area much more natural and immersive.

Medical and scientific imaging might also benefit from it as well.

Not really designed for your typical photographer or standard consumer.

For that kind of money, one could get a pair of really nice Adobe RGB colorspace pro-grade monitors and the video cards to drive them, & still have a lot of change left over (enough to buy a new mac pro to hook them up to, actually).

900 vertical pixels - are you kidding? The resolution on that thing stinks.

Maybe for a gaming rig it might be fun, but agree with above, that's worthless for most of us (especially at the price).
