What's to figure out? The road curves to the right, as the signs indicate. As an added precaution, there's a stop sign to keep anyone from pulling out in front of traffic on the cross road, in case they missed the turn.

The thing is, having a stop sign is an indicator that traffic in that direction is permissible -- it's not common practice anywhere else in the US to include stop signs telling traffic that isn't permitted to stop -- one way streets do not have stop signs in the "wrong" direction. So when you see the stop sign, it suggests that you could belong there. Except there is no way to get there.

Meh... I don't actually care about it. It's moderately funny. Slap a "FAIL" on it and circle the stopsign and send it to failblog. :p

Do Not Enter signs and directional arrows. What's funny?

Far more interesting is the floating hydrant in a pith helmet.

We don't have enough taxes yet. Let's start putting stop signs the wrong way all along every one-way road in America - as an added precaution. There's a good use of time and money. In fact, I think they should be full color electric displays that flash STOP in multiple languages - just to be safe. Maybe big screen TV's with a video of someone stopping for those that can't read.
