Check out what Fedex did to my MBP

That sucks! I assume you had insurance and have called FedEx already about this. Keep all the packaging for your claim (just in case). Hopefully you'll be compensated for the damage.
 
Oh dont worry I am covered. It was not from Apple anyway. Just amazed that they managed to impale it. Thought I had seen the worst of Fedex after they put boot prints on my Dell 248WFPs. On both of them too and they were mailed in the original boxes... Amazing.
 
It didnt go completely through so I don't think so. That was my initial thought too.
 
Looks like a gunshot to me rofl. :D I would call Apple/fedex and get that fixed pronto.
 
That is really interesting. I wish we could figure out what it is. Is there residue from a bullet? Do you have a CSI kit?

Try flashing the laptop under a black light. If you see any glowing residue it was a bullet. GSR =P. Man Horatio really made my CSI spiffy.
 
Not if the bullet was made of ice;) Perhaps the liquid sensors have been activated?
 
You would think there'd be a bullet, I would think so at least. But what else could it possibly be?
 
Wow, that's actually impressive.

Never showed up on the tracking as potentially damaged or anything? They do have a classification that shows up when it happens.
 
That's crazy! WTF could they have possibly been doing with your package?

How long do you have to wait until you get your replacement? What is the replacement procedure (do they give you the cash, do you give them the MBP specs and they order for you)?
 
Lol I bet the driver was a Microsoft Fanboy and smelled the MBP.

Anyway I checked the tracking it was perfectly clear. To be fair though the hole is small maybe they missed it. But it must have gone in and out so someone somewhere must have done it and didn't say anything about it.

Since I didn't get it from Apple the seller is going to refund me after Fedex pickup their masterpiece.
 
Maybe it got lodged in the LCD as it didnt penetrate fully. Ill go take a look.

that was done on purpose. OR, if it is an accident the person who did it MUST have known they did it right away.


they should've owned up however, thats the world we live in.

O.P. I can only imagine the chain of events. you've been waiting for 5 days for your new baby to arrive. door bell rings, it's finally here. Open it up and heart sinks to your stomach and you start to feel nauseated.

i hope you dont have to wait too long for a replacement
 
If that happened to me, I would be so angry at Fedex. I would scream at them on the phone so much, they would buy me a new one with better specs just to get me to shut up. I save up a long time for my gadgets. Totally unacceptable.
