Jeebus dude, this is only posted here about 500 times. Welcome to three days ago.
Eight days ago. My account has had the charge as "Pending" since 4/13.
I do agree with that...we will not be getting them prior to the 30th. I don't know why this happens every time...it happened with the WiFi version plus every other product Apple ever sold, they do not come early, they arrive on the day Apple says they will. Some one...every time though...keeps hoping that they will get it early.
Relax. We're just keeping up the momentum. A similar thread was going on for the wifi version even though everyone knew they we're going to get it "early"
I generally track my cards online near daily anyway. Fraud is mess to clean up if it happens.
I can't tell what's what on my bank statement. I paid for my 64GB iPad plus every accessory under the sun with a 1000 dollar apple gift card and the remaining balance on my CC. Since I went ahead and bought a wifi iPad to hold me over in the meantime I've been purchasing apps videos songs etc. I see a variety of charges from apple online store and from apple iTunes store.
I'm sure the charge is there somewhere .

Eight days ago. My account has had the charge as "Pending" since 4/13.
That's a long pending period. I know on both of mine the longest they will pend them is 5 days, usually 3; then it goes off. I called Apple today and they said they usually charge it when it ships so good luck guys.
I understand by the 30th means it will be in my hands BY the 30's and I am FINE with that but nothing wrong with a little hoping

They didn't say "by the 30th" though...they said "on the 30th".

Anyone else get an "We are unable to authorize your payment source" email?
The initial purchase authorization went fine, so I don't understand what the issue could be, or why it would try and re-authorize today??? I've read that sometimes these emails go out accidentally, but I don't want my order getting cancelled!
Any thoughts?

Ok, my card's been charged for my iPad 3G.
Not that there's any suspense now. Just watching for "prepared for shipment", etc., and then a package next Friday.

You should call the credit card issuer and make sure the transaction goes through.
Card was hit with a pre-auth two days ago...money is still in 'pending'... Hopefully it'll post tomorrow!
Mine doesn't show anything as of yet. I preordered the first day it was available, but never had any temporary hold or anything.
