In a van down by the river
I purchased AppleCare+ at the same time of purchase of the Sim-Free iPhone XS Max on the Apple site. However, it isn't showing up on the Apple support app or website. I am on the phone now with Apple to get this corrected.

Check the Apple Support App and website to make sure your coverage is showing on your new phone.

We paid for AppleCare+ on the X last year and never bothered to check online. Didn’t realize until we were selling the phone that it never showed up on their system.

I didn't purchase Apple Care when I ordered my phone on Verizon website on the 14th. I received the phone yesterday on the 21st and today I decided to purchase Apple Care through the Apple website. The coverage immediately showed on the Apple Support website and I immediately received the certificate of coverage via email.

When ever I want to check the Apple Care status and/or eligibility of all of my Apple products, I go here: https://mysupport.apple.com/

It will give you dates of eligibility of current coverages and will also tell which products you have that can still gain coverage. I find that if you purchase through https://mysupport.apple.com/ the coverage shows quickly.

Also you now have 60 days to add it after purchase btw. I have never bought it. Knock on wood. A good glass protector and apple case is what I always rock

That is how it has usually been for me. For some reason, I didn't get the confirmation of coverage email when I purchased the phone. My receipt shows the coverage was purchased.

Support told me to call back in 48hrs if it doesn't show online.

The new Support app on iOS is quite nice for checking as well. It’ll show all the devices you have under your Apple ID, the current warranty status, and how many days remaining to purchase Apple Care + (if you haven’t already).

Cool!! I didn't realize there was an iOS support app.

Thanks for the heads up. Mine is missing too but I will give it a few days. But I set a reminder to check it next week.

Mine is missing as well. Glad to see I'm not alone in this. On the phone with Apple right now.

My coverage is missing as well, and I'm also on the phone with support. The rep has no idea how to help me, but I'm glad to see this is a more widespread issue and not just me.

Mine is missing as well. I didn't even think to check until I saw this post. Since so many people have called about it, I think I'm going to wait the 48 hours and just see if it fixes itself. I'll make a note to myself to check later in the week. Thank you for the heads up!

Coverage for my new XS Max is showing an expiration date of 10/21/2018. I'm sure it'll sort itself out but I'll be keeping an eye on it.

For those with missing Applecare+, did you get the "Welcome to AppleCare" email? I didn't, but I know my husband did and the coverage already shows for his phone. Hopefully mine will pop up in 48 hrs.

I did - along with an AppleCare+ proof of coverage email.

Just got off the phone with Support and was told I’m covered but won’t get anything until the trade-in is completed (they get my old phone). If anything happens, just show the receipt. Received a case no.
