Hi.
Im pretty new to this server stuff.
I'm afraid that I have "opened my computer up" for hackers by opening my SSH connection for everyone. I have deleted the hidden folder .ssh in my homefolder. Is that a mistake?
Is there a way to check if your computer is secure for people, whot tries to connect via SSH?
-Thanks.

As long as your password is good it should be fine. My recommendation is to use a 10 character alpha-numeric password with as many different symbols as possible (for instance £&(_*^) that kind of thing.

So no matter what I have deleted, you will always need the users password to login? Also when I have deleted the folder .shh?

Yeah you always need to know the password to login. That is why having good passwords is essential (never ever use blank passwords). You can disable it in the Sharing area of the System Preferences though. Just disable "Remote Login".
