Checking warranty status of Note2?

I'm getting ready to list my Note2 for sale so I can get a Note3. I think it has a one year warranty, and I bought it about 7 months ago.

1. How can I check the warranty status of the Note2 so if someone wants to purchase it I can show them the status of the warranty?

Be careful. Even though most warranties are 12 months. Some manufacturers have a clause that states the warranty only applies to original purchaser/owner.

Not sure what Samsung's warranty is
