Techwhack has just posted that a chinese ipod case company has posted a silicone case for the iPod Touch 3g with a hole in the back for a camera. http://news.techwhack.com/10585-apple-ipod-touch-3g
Rumours in the market have long been claiming that Apple is planning to add a camera to their iPod Touch model.

A new version of the iPod Touch is expected to arrive in September this year. And this version could indeed feature a camera just like iPhone.

The possibilities have somewhat increased with the arrival of a case from some Chinese company. The case is build for the iPod Touch and features a hole in the back where camera could be.

The company calls the case the “Anti-slip Silicone Skin Case for iPod Touch 3G 8GB 16GB”.

The appearance of this case on a Chinese website does not really ‘confirm’ that a camera would become a part of the next iPod Touch. But Apple does not to add some more value to the portable media player to make it worth the price.

Looking at the current model of iPhone 3GS and the prices, the second generation iPod Touch looks darn expensive.

Hopefully real, this would be awesome!

I love how that site says "Give your iPod Touch 3G the best protection against scratches and stains."......... Apple haven't even released ANYTHING on there being a new iPod Touch yet lol

Apple, like all hardware vendors, has to give accessory makers a head start if there will be new hardware, so that those accessories will be available when the new device is available. They have found that with the prevelance of phone cameras, it is VERY hard to keep pictures of new accessories off he web. NDAs are extremely hard to enforce in chinese factories.
