My 11" Lo0ow end Macbook Air has a chip in the bezel.. is the bezel made out of metal? And does anyone else have this?

The machine is aluminum I believe and it's not normal. Do you have a pic of the chip? How is it possible that you don't know what your notebook is made out of? I thought that was macfan 101?!

No I couldn't tell what the bezel was. It's strange. I mean it wasn't there when I got it, so it's probably my fault. But this is some weak-ass metal.

So here's a picture of the chip and another marking that appears to be the bezel making contact with the sharp left edge of the trackpad. This could just be me putting pressure on the lid when I put in my bag, but if not I'm not sure.

Don't let it bother you. The coating method of the aluminium (anodization?) causes little anormalities that you have to live with.

Alright. I'm not sure how this happened because it wasn't there when I got it, but considering I could get another worse one if I try to replace this pretty perfect one I'm not gonna bother.
