Hello,

I'm working on a first generation Mac Pro 2x3.0 dual core, with a 23" Cinema Display, and i'm going to buy a new pen tablet, i'm a design student and my major work is focused on vectorial work in Illustrator and various type of work in Photoshop.. i would like to know your opinion about the best option to suite my screen size needs.

Thank you very much

Welcome to the Design forums! However, please use search. You will find that this question comes up every other week and always gets the same answers. People will tell you the same thing they told the OP of the thread 4 threads down from your own.

The tone of my response is not to put you down, but to encourage those newer to this forum to find answers already given.

believe me when i say i already searched for it, but i do not found any thread wich makes the relation between the screen size and the tablet size, but i will continue searching,

thank you

A Wacom Intuos3 tablet will map to the size of your screen. What size tablet to get depends on what you feel comfortable with or have space on your work area for.

I started out with a 6 x 11 Intuos3 that was a nice size for me and seemed a better choice for a widescreen monitor since the dimensions were proportionate.

Now I use the widescreen Cintiq monitor 20WSX that provides me a more natural drawing experience.

Clearly not hard enough then

In the design and graphics section of the forum (ie the one you're in now) is a post called graphics tablets, its literally 8 down at time of posting this.

I know for a fact there is a bit about screen and tablet in there cos I posted it

LeviG yap, i had read that post some days ago, and your line on matching up widescreen with widescreen did not response to my doubts at all, so ... i post this new post as i couldn't find any answer to my specific doubt, and now i'm ok, thank you very much, specially to jerryrock who was the unique to spend some time answering precisely to a question from a user who had previously searched for help in the "search" section of the forums :D
