I had problem with little choppy and lagging when play The Sims 2 at medium setting at 1074 x 768, nothing is smooth at all time but tried played at 1280 x 800 and more choppy than 1074 x 768. I was just like ugh at Aspyr for doing a bad job with convert or developing from PC version.
The Sims 2 is running so well on iMac with HD 2400 XT at medium/high setting with 1280 x 800 with very little choppy but more often in vacation and MBP made more worse in vacation, more choppy than sim's house.
I don't understand that game isn't run so well on MBP, I hate to turn all to low but 8600m GT is supposed to performs better and Apple did underclock that.
It's Mac version of The Sims 2
MBP, 2.2 GHz, 2GB RAM, 120GB HDD and 8600m GT, OS is 10.5.1.
