Christmas Deals Better Than Black Friday/Cyber Monday?

What are the chance that there will be some good deals at Christmas time on the new Mini that are better than what's being offered now?

Best I've seen was $999 for base i5 on Adorama (now expired) and currently $1,049 for base i5 on both B&H and Adorama.

Macs tend to not see great deals in the first place, and the ones that do generally have been available for a while. I doubt the mini will see significant savings.

Pulled the trigger i5/8/256 $1,029 (no tax) - could have been $999 two days ago but was feeling pressured. $30 for peace of mind is fine by me.
