I just got a new iPhone for christmas and the first thing i tried to do was revert to 1.1.1...then get installer....etc and jailbreak 1.1.2. The problem I seem to have is that once at 1.1.1 and using the windows.bat it gets stuck at the rebooting iPhone part or whatever. If i cancel it its at 1.1.1 but i get no service and can't connect to teh internet to get installer.app. Any suggestions?

I was also reading that newer iPhones cant be jailbreaked (past week 45 or something?). Well mine is brand new at christmas and i think week 42 but i just can't seem to jailbreak it because i can't get installer.app.

Click my name, view my profile, then click "View threads started by JDT" and there's one about jailbreaking the iPhone.

I followed this exact procedure 2 weeks ago, and now have a Pay as you Go iPhone.

(I would paste the link but I'm on my iPhone which annoyingly doesnt have Cut and Paste.)

You shouldn't be running windows.bat until after you've updated to 1.1.2.

Down to 1.1.1
iBricker to get out of restore mode
Wireless connection to jailbreak 1.1.1
Install AppSnap
OktoPrep
Update to 1.1.2
Then jailbreak 1.1.2 with windows.bat

Turns out I have a week 49 so I am not sure it will work. Also I'm using windows does ibricker work for that because I am pretty sure the conceited software pulls you out of gur and is an alternative to I bricker and then you use it again after
