Why do you want to slow Chrome down by having the cache on a slow external HDD?

it's killing my ssd, because I'm sitting in chrome 24/7

how do I move the cache folder to my slow hard drive?

I have searched everywhere for information about this, but there is no answer anywhere.

Explain how Chrome is “killing” your SSD? The cache is a repository of visited web page assets. I highly doubt Chrome can write enough files to its cache to “kill” a SSD.
