hi, new guy here.
I've downloaded google chrome, on to my pro, and do not like it.
How do I go about deleting all signs of it?
I've tried dragging the icon to the trash, but this doesn't seem to be working.
any info would be appreciated.
thanks

1. Download the free app "EasyFind" from here:
http://www.devontechnologies.com/download/products.html

2. Open EasyFind. Set it up as follows:
- search for -- files and folders
- operator -- phrase
- comparison -- ignore case
- include -- invisible files and folders

3. Type chrome in EasyFind's search bar. You'll probably get a lot of hits.

4. Not all the hits may actually be for Chrome. Some may be for other apps. BE CAREFUL.

5. Now you can start deleting the Chrome stuff, one-by-one. It's going to take time. But if you really want to hunt down and get rid of all the pieces, this is how you do it.

The comment above is rather drastic. You can go to Finder -> Applications -> look for Chrome -> drag it to the Trash or hold CMD (Command) and tap delete/backspace

When I drop Google Chrome into AppCleaner this is what I get:
