I like using the same browser on my phone as I do on my desktop, so I've tried for the past using chrome on ios, but the animations are so laggy/stuttery, I am a bit confused aren't all browsers an ios pretty much safari with a skin on top? How is this possible? I am running ios 15.6 on an iphone 12

what research on web/browser engines on iOS/iPadOS have you done so far? What are your findings? 🤓
