Chrome problems

In my "default engines" I can only delete and not add any search engines.
"default engines" included Yahoo and Bing but not Google.

"Google" is there under "Other search engines" but when I click on the three dots on the right, "Make default" doesn't appear, while "Make default" appears for other search engines.

I want to make Google my default but don't know how. I always have to go to google.com first and then do a search.

Try deleting it and then re-adding it.

Have you tried to re-install Google Chrome or check it for updates?
