Chrome to Safari

Hey Guys,

Seeing as Mountain Lion just came out as well as a great new update for Safari I have decided to switch back to safari from Chrome. I was wondering whether it was possible to transfer all my settings and bookmarks and even my bookmarks on my bookmarks bar to Safari. Also I would really like to have my bookmarks on my bookmarks bar with the corresponding icons from the website like I can do in Google Chrome, is this possible?

I also decided to go back to safari now and I transfered bookmarks like this:

in chrome click on a wrench at the right side of toolbar> bookmarks> bookmark manager> organize> export bookmarks

now u have a html file


in safari go under File> Import bookmarks

then you will have to a play a little bit to put them in the right place of your browser.

It would be nice to just transfer them and they would simply appear just like I did it from safari to chrome but I haven't found that option

The corresponding icons you're talking about are the favicons for the website which are stored in the browser's cache. If you open all the sites, they should appear again.

Yes i know that, but i want them on my top bar on safari like they were in chrome, is this possible?

No, not by default. I believe the Glims extension can do that though.
